Systems of Post Signature (SOPS) is an online radio station designed to dissect and discuss the multifaceted domain of Algorithmic Cultures. This platform aims to be a nexus where technology, art, social sciences, and philosophy intersect.

From the weaving looms that propelled us into the world of programmable machines to the fractal art birthed by complex mathematical operations, algorithms have always been at the crossroads of art and science. Algorithms act as cultural, political, and social agents, and it is imperative that we understand and scrutinize their impact on culture and society. Systems of Post Signature offers 24/7 streams of thought-provoking conversations pulled from real-life dialogues, peeling back the layers of complexity that Algorithmic Cultures covers.

The first six conversations are held with Sandberg Institute’s Algorithmic Cultures Research Group, formed by artists Barbara Visser, Benjamin Schoonenberg, Flavia Dzodan, Mariana Fernández Mora, Roosje Klap and Zachary Formwalt. Their six conversations will be aired live just once.

Between the live events, the recorded conversations will transition into an interactive, evergreen algorithmic radio show of an infinite discussion. Listeners can not only tune in but also collaboratively choose which voices participate in this conversation, customising the radio stream for everyone else listening in.
